Safety from Day One: Eco-Friendly Cotton Cord

The foundation of our handmade crochet products is a cotton cord made from recycled cotton fibers. Its production process requires no water, dyes, or toxic chemicals, and minimizes energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. This makes it not only safe for babies but also an environmentally responsible choice.

Our yarn is certified by OEKO-TEX 100, an internationally recognized standard ensuring that the material is free from harmful substances and safe for even the most sensitive infant skin. By choosing certified materials, we provide the highest level of comfort and protection for your baby from day one.

Natural Birch Plywood: Safe and Sustainable

For wooden elements in our products, we use only natural birch plywood, adhering to the strictest environmental standards. One of the key safety indicators for wood-based materials is formaldehyde emission levels.

Formaldehyde is a volatile organic compound that can be released from adhesives in engineered wood products. According to global safety standards, formaldehyde emissions are categorized as follows:

- E0 – Near-zero emissions, completely safe for health.
- E1 – Low emissions, safe for use in homes and children's products.
- E2 and higher – Not recommended for children's spaces due to high emission levels.

We use E0 or E1-certified plywood, ensuring its safety and the absence of harmful emissions. When selecting products for babies, always check the materials used—many manufacturers opt for HDF or MDF to cut costs, but these materials often contain high levels of adhesives and formaldehyde, posing potential health risks.

Natural Oil-Wax Finish: Safe and Protective

To enhance the smoothness of our wooden products and provide moisture resistance, we use natural oil-wax finishes that are certified safe for children's toys. This not only creates a silky, polished surface but also adds durability and protection against wear and tear.
